I will dominate 'legitimate boxer' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-bout contest which will be shown live on Netflix.

British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to build hype for the upcoming bout.

Former twice unified boxing king Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive disparity - at Miami arena on December 19th.

Fighter's Mindset

"I'm going to break his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show my superiority," Joshua, 35, declared.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I will seriously aim to injure him. That's what I want to do."

Respectful Interaction

Despite these statements, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally recognized for his showmanship - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.

Paul instead targeted ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Joshua, meanwhile, targeted British opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.

"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.

"I respect him for that."

Legitimate Fighter

Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.

Paul's History

Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since becoming pro.

He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.

Commercial Attraction

Nevertheless, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, frequently receiving huge financial rewards.

Forecast and Belief

The 28 year old anticipated a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would stop the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.

"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.

Physical Disparity

As both boxers engaged in the usual face-off, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it highlighted just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the bout is really proceeding.
