Automobiles in German City Found Smeared with Swastikas in Blood, Police State

Police stated they were alerted by a individual who found a car in Hanau smeared with reddish liquid

Roughly fifty automobiles have been covered with what appears to be human blood in the Germany's municipality of Hanau close to Frankfurt, as reported by police.

Cars, exterior walls and postal boxes were marked, sometimes with swastikas, they reported in a release.

Officers say they were contacted late on Wednesday night, when a resident observed that a vehicle in the Lamboy area of Hanau had been smeared with a reddish-hued substance.

The substance had been placed in the form of a swastika, they added.

Officers then located many other marked vehicles and residential walls in the adjacent neighborhood.

Swastikas are illegal in Germany under legislation banning the public exhibition of Nazi-era symbols.

Police say preliminary tests indicate the liquid was probably human bodily fluid.

"Currently there is no indication as to where it came from; investigators are currently not informed of any injuries in relation with the occurrence," they commented.

City officials said they were working "to unravel the case" and have appealed to the community for details.

A senior official said the attack made him without words and required to be solved rapidly.

"This event affects the core of Hanau and reawakens the pain of the far-right terrorist attack five years ago," he stated on social media, recalling the killing of nine victims by a shooter aiming at individuals of migrant background in 2020.
