An American-Palestinian youth after completing a nine-month period in Israel's custody absent formal charges gained freedom.

Mohammed Ibrahim was fifteen years old during his detention this past winter throughout the West Bank territory, while he was vacationing on holiday from Florida under suspicion of rock throwing at Jewish settlers, allegations he repeatedly contested.

American diplomatic officials said it welcomed Mohammed's liberation.

Currently aged sixteen, required hospitalization right after being freed, relatives told the media.

According to them, he appears visibly pale and thin, and is suffering from conditions developed during imprisonment.

Via family representatives, family spokesperson spoke of the family's "tremendous relief".

Zeyad Kadur said the family had been "surviving a terrible, unending nightmare" throughout the past nine months.

"Right now, we're concentrating on providing Mohammed with urgent medical care he requires after experiencing Israel's abuse and cruel circumstances over several months."

US officials announced ongoing to provide consular support for the Ibrahim family.

{"The Trump Administration gives utmost importance to ensuring the safety of American nationals"," officials stated.

Several congressional representatives submitted a formal letter to diplomatic officials and the White House, requesting additional efforts to release him.

The father, a father-of-four managing a frozen treats business in Florida, previously claimed his child admitted guilt to throwing stones after being assaulted by soldiers.

The father hadn't visited nor direct contact since February, learning information solely about his son's condition through judicial records.

The teenager remained absent formal charges in Ofer prison in the West Bank.

The facility also contains grown detainees, some of whom have been convicted of serious terrorism offences and murder.

There are around 350 Palestinian minors in security custody detained within Israeli facilities, per correctional service statistics.

Many have never been charged while advocacy organizations, as well as the United Nations, document cases involving physical abuse and torture.

After the teenager's freedom, Mr Kadur said the family would also continue fighting for justice for his cousin family member Sayfollah.

The dual national youth who the Palestinian health ministry said died from beating by radical settlers amid clashes in July.

At the time, military authorities reported authorities were looking into information regarding a civilian had been killed.

Both young men had worked together at their family's ice cream business from Tampa.

No one has been charged for the cousin's murder.

"We expect US authorities to safeguard our relatives," family representatives emphasized.
